Calvary Chapel McDonough marked it’s inception in 2001when a small home fellowship began as a result of the need for verse by verse bible teaching with a distinct Calvary Chapel style ministry on the south side of Atlanta. Manny Collazo responded to an email request asking for someone willing to teach this kind of study in Henry County not knowing that God would use his adventurous spirit and passion for teaching to inspire a church plant.

Seven years and several moves later, Calvary Chapel McDonough continues to grow in the grace and knowledge of the Lord through the consistent diet of expository teaching and relevant worship opportunities through service inside and outside of the facility walls. Through CCMcD is still relatively young, our heart for making disciples by getting God's word out has led to another church plant to the west, Calvary Chapel Fayetteville.

Our heart along with Pastor Manny's is to BE the church and not just to attend church.
