The purpose of the Women's Ministry is to provide an environment for women in which they can:

 

DEEPEN their relationship with God and other Christian women through Bible study, and fellowship.

DISCOVER and DEVELOP their God given gifts and abilities in order to build up the body of Christ and fulfill the Great Commission.

 

The Women's Group meets on Thursday's at 7:00pm at the Winfree's home.  A special time of desserts and prayer precede the meeting at 6:30pm.

 

The women will be starting 1 Peter on January 17th, 2013.

WSSM

Peter and Jeanine Garcia, the leaders of WSSM, have been leading worship in Calvary Chapels since 1987.  In 2006, they were called from Southern California to Louisiana after Hurricane Katrina to help in a church plant and minister to the New Orleans Evacuees in the FEMA Parks. Four years later, God again called them to another new ministry of living on the road to be “Musicianaries” to small churches, primarily in the South.
