Men’s Group

The Men's Group is now meeting at:

The purpose of the Men’s Group is to educate and instruct men of God through worship, Bible study, prayer, and fellowship so they may pursue God's purpose for their lives and fulfill the Great Commission bestowed upon them. We believe that God will raise up men within the church to support the body of Christ with their talents and gifts and be a foundation that the church can lean upon when called.

Yep, we do all of that and MORE!! Each Monday night at 6:30 pm, we meet at Any Length Resources. Every week there is dinner provided so you can come straight from work when you need to without worrying about stopping off and getting some food. We take turns bringing the grub, so you never know what you will be eating, but it is always delicious.

Each month we have an outreach planned for the group. We want to get out into the community occassionally instead of always sitting around discussing God's Word. We have cleaned up yards, built fences, grilled food for local apartment complexes, and painted porches for the elderly. It is a time when we can fellowship with each other as well as be a blessing to those in our neighborhoods.

Our prayer time is awesome. We will spend a good portion of each meeting in prayer for the needs of the church, community, and each other. We stand on our integrity as "What's said here, stays here." It is a time when we can share as men issues and troubles we may be facing and can lean on the experience, strength, and hope of our fellow men. We all come from different backgrounds, upbringings, and employment, but we bond as men of God. It is an amazing time.

As they visited many Calvary Chapels over the next year, their eyes were opened to a huge need: the lack of worship leaders answering His call. Since being called to be the Worship Leaders at Calvary Chapel McDonough, Georgia in 2011, 4 other churches have been provided with worship leaders. But there are still many who need help.
